You shouldn’t need help just to deal with the township.

I’m not a politician.

I’m a mother, a business owner, a volunteer, a snowmobiler, and someone who is deeply rooted in this community.

I live the same life a lot of people here do, balancing work, family, responsibilities, rising costs, community involvement, and the constant reality that nothing gets done unless somebody is willing to step up and do it.

That has shaped how I see local government.

My professional background is in legal services. I’m a licensed paralegal, and I’ve spent years helping people navigate systems that are often confusing, inconsistent, and harder to deal with than they should be.

I’ve also worked inside the court system.
So I’ve seen both sides, how systems are supposed to work, and how they actually work when real people are the ones stuck dealing with them.

And here’s the truth:

  • too many people feel like dealing with the Township is harder than it should be.
  • Too many people get different answers to the same question.
  • Too many people are left trying to sort through rules and processes that should be clearer from the start.

That wears people down.
And over time, it breaks trust.

I’m not running to play hero, and I’m not running to sell fairy tales about overnight change.

I’m running because I believe Highlands East needs leadership that is honest, practical, and willing to ask hard questions when something is not working.

I understand systems.
I understand people.

And I understand that decisions made at the municipal level affect real lives, not just paper policies.

That matters to me.

And that’s why I’m running.

I’m running for every day people like you and I!
