You shouldn’t need help just to deal with the township.
But right now, you do.
I know where the system breaks.
I’m running to make it clearer, more consistent, and easier to deal with.
I’m a licensed paralegal. I’ve spent over a decade working inside legal and administrative systems, not just reading the rules, but applying them, challenging them, and helping people navigate them when they don’t make sense.
I’ve also worked inside the court system.
So I’ve seen both sides.
And here’s the reality:
There is often a gap between what policies say, and how they are actually applied.
That gap is where:
- people get different answers to the same question
- people don’t know how to comply
- people lose confidence in the system
And once that trust is gone, everything gets harder.
Residents shouldn’t need:
- multiple calls
- conflicting information
- or professional help
just to deal with their own municipality.
But many do.
That’s not a small issue.
That’s a system issue.
And it’s one we can do better on.
And that is why I’m running for Mayor of Highlands East.
